What We Do
Our Concrete Coating Services
From vibrant flake systems to showroom-worthy metallic epoxy, every floor we install is backed by our craftsmanship guarantee and built to handle whatever Alaska throws at it.
Flake Epoxy Floors
Our most popular system. Decorative vinyl flakes broadcast into epoxy create a durable, slip-resistant surface with near-unlimited color combinations. Perfect for garages, shops, and warehouses. Every flake floor includes a moisture vapor barrier as standard, giving you lasting protection most installers only offer when test results demand it.
Most PopularSolid Color Epoxy
Clean, seamless, and bold. Solid color epoxy delivers a high-gloss finish that resists chemicals, stains, and heavy foot traffic. Ideal for commercial and industrial environments.
High Traffic ToughMetallic Epoxy Floors
A statement floor unlike anything else. Metallic pigments swirl and shift as light moves, creating a one-of-a-kind, three-dimensional finish that transforms any space into a showpiece. Like all of our systems, every metallic floor includes a moisture vapor barrier as standard.
Showroom FinishPolished Concrete
Grind, hone, and polish your existing slab to a sleek, refined surface. Polished concrete is low-maintenance, highly durable, and gives any commercial or residential space a modern, architectural feel.

The Smart Investment
Why Coat Your Floor?
Bare concrete is porous, weak on the surface, and impossible to keep clean. A professional floor coating changes all of that. It is one of the highest-return upgrades you can make to any space, and it lasts for decades when installed correctly.
Protects Your Concrete
Bare concrete absorbs oil, chemicals, and moisture. Over time that leads to staining, cracking, and deterioration that is expensive to fix. A coating seals the surface and shields it from damage for years to come.
Effortless Cleanup
Spills, dirt, and debris wipe right up. Coated floors do not absorb anything, which means a quick mop or sweep is all it takes to keep your space looking brand new. No scrubbing, no staining, no headaches.
Transforms Any Space
A professionally coated floor does not just protect. It completely changes how a space looks and feels. Garages become showrooms. Warehouses look sharp and professional. The right finish makes every square foot work harder for you.
Built to Last Decades
A properly installed epoxy system does not peel, chip, or fade. When the surface prep is done right and commercial-grade materials are used, you are looking at a floor that holds up for 15 to 20 years or more with minimal upkeep.
Increases Property Value
Coated floors are a visible upgrade that buyers and tenants notice. Whether it is a home garage, a commercial unit, or an industrial space, a quality floor coating signals that the property has been maintained and cared for.
Moisture and Chemical Resistant
Our coatings stand up to the harsh Alaska environment. Oil, salt, chemicals, and moisture that would destroy bare concrete simply sit on the surface and wipe away. Every floor we install includes a moisture vapor barrier as standard, something most installers skip.

Why GlacierShine
Built on Results,
Not Promises
GlacierShine was born in a hangar. Our founder kept seeing bare, oil-stained concrete floors across Alaska, unprotected and overlooked. A veteran with a construction background and zero tolerance for shoddy work, he decided to fix it. That's still what drives every job we take on.
Surface Prep Is Everything
We diamond-grind and profile every slab before coating. Proper prep is what separates a floor that lasts 20 years from one that peels in 20 months.
Commercial-Grade Materials
We use industrial-strength epoxy, aliphatic urethane, and polyaspartic topcoat systems, not the big-box store kits. Your floor handles real traffic, chemicals, and UV exposure for the long haul.
Clean, Respectful Crews
We protect your property, work efficiently, and leave the job site cleaner than we found it. You'll barely know we were there until you see the floor.

Who We Are
Veteran-Owned.
Family-Operated.
GlacierShine is built and run by family. When you call us, you're talking directly to an owner, a veteran who holds every job to the same standard he held himself to in the field.
Jeremy Price was raised in Idaho by two Marine Corps parents, so discipline and a strong work ethic weren't optional. They were the baseline. He started working construction as a kid and never really stopped, picking up tools on job sites throughout his military career and beyond.
At 17, Jeremy enlisted and spent the next eight years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician (the bomb squad). It's one of the most demanding jobs in the military, requiring precision under pressure and zero margin for error. He deployed multiple times, including a combat tour to Afghanistan and a recovery mission to Vietnam, before retiring in 2016. He continues to serve in a federal capacity today.
Jeremy is also a licensed pilot and owns several aircraft, including a Super Cub he flies across Alaska. It was actually time spent in hangars that sparked the idea for GlacierShine. He kept seeing bare, oil-stained concrete floors that were unprotected and overlooked. He knew exactly how to fix that. After nearly two decades of serving others, GlacierShine became something of his own, a business built on the same standards he held himself to in the field. Jeremy is a husband and father of six young children, and that shapes everything about how he runs this company. Every job he takes on is one he would be proud to show his kids. When he is on your job site, you get that same precision, that same accountability, and a finished floor he would be proud to put his name on.
Stan Rakhmanov was born in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, and came to America as a young child when his family fled religious persecution. He grew up the oldest of eleven siblings, and from an early age, responsibility and hard work weren't concepts. They were daily life.
Stan has been in the construction trades since he was old enough to swing a hammer, and he has never stopped. Today he works across two crafts: granite countertops and epoxy flooring, and the standard is the same in both. Show up, do it right, and don't leave until the job is done. Clients know that when Stan is on a project, it gets finished on time, on spec, and without excuses.
A married man who puts family above all else, that is exactly how he lives it. Partnering with Jeremy to build GlacierShine was a natural extension of that, a chance to build something lasting alongside people he trusts. When you hire GlacierShine, Stan's reliability isn't a promise. It's a track record.

Before We Arrive
How to Prepare for Your Install
To keep your project on schedule and avoid any additional charges, please have the following taken care of before our crew arrives.
Clear the Space
All vehicles, equipment, and belongings must be removed from the work area before we arrive. We need full, unobstructed access to every inch of the floor.
Adequate Lighting
The space needs proper lighting throughout the project. Good visibility allows our crew to deliver a flawless finish and catch any surface issues before they become problems.
Power Supply
An adequate power supply must be available for the duration of the project. If no power is present at the job site, a generator fee will be added to cover the cost of equipment we bring in.
Booking and Payment
We require a 50% deposit to secure your project on our schedule. The remaining balance is due upon completion and your final walkthrough, once you are fully satisfied with the work.
